happy easter!

during the easter season, everyone has their rituals. for some people, it is the end of lent. for others, it is watching the ten commandments at least six times before easter dinner. for me, it is sharing this picture with everyone.

sorry kids, easter is cancelled. more fun at pwasoh.com

so there it is. I hope you have enjoyed it as much as I do every year.

medical trivia

the joy of going to medical school is that you learn all sorts of important facts from charts.

from Dr. Sargentini's lecture today...

that's right. you may have noticed it, too. over 2 million people are dying of diarrhea every year. that has to be 1.) the absolute worst way to die, 2.) some sort of explosive diarrhea that results in spontaneous combustion.

weed them out early!

finals week is almost over and I haven't failed out yet. fantastic. to rejoice, I give you this. apparantly, exams in middle school were much more rigorous and painful.

more things that I have been doing rather than studying at daboyz.org

I must have it...

finals week has made us all crazy.

thank you, busted tees, for making medical school bearable.

studying is dangerous

what happens when the only thing you do for 72 hours is study? you get kinda crazy... and you wind up buying yourself things that you don't really need. say "hello" to the proud new owner of an iPod Shuffle. what can I say, it was cheaper than most other 512MB .mp3 players and it plugs directly into a USB port appealing to both my cheap side and my lazy side.

its the small things...

after failing the third exam of the week, it really is the small things that keep you going. like this. penguins rule.

medical school's secret plan

After today, I am convinced that "medical school" is actually a diabolic scheme to harvest humans. The administration fed us soup and salad today shortly after crushing our spirits with a devastating histology exam. I have a firm belief that they are just fattening us up before they harvest our brains, put them in a blender, and brew up some sort of human intelligence protein shake.

Apparantly eating brains will make your DNA purple. I have no idea what this means. (

So prion city, here we come... too bad we all failed the exam.
